Angela Browne Therapy

Navigating the aftermath of trauma is a central aspect of my work as a Psychosynthesis Psychotherapist. Trauma, whether from a single event or a series of ongoing or repeated experiences, can profoundly affect our sense of self, our relationships, and our outlook on life. My commitment is to provide a compassionate, safe space where we can work together towards healing, understanding, and integration so that you can live to your full potential.

Understanding Trauma

Trauma can leave deep emotional wounds, manifesting in fear, anxiety, depression, dissociation, splitting and a pervasive sense of unsafety. These responses are natural defences but can become barriers to living fully. Recognising these symptoms as signals of underlying trauma is crucial for beginning the healing process.

My Personal Approach

In our journey together, I focus on establishing a therapeutic alliance grounded in empathy, acceptance, and trust. We explore the impact of trauma on your life, exploring into its origins and how it has shaped your beliefs, behaviours, and relationships. Through techniques such as somatic awareness, guided imagery and mindfulness, we access deeper levels of awareness, facilitating healing and reconnection with your authentic inner self.

We also explore the spiritual dimensions of your experience, finding meaning and growth in the face of adversity. Practical strategies for managing daily life, including somatic awareness and stress reduction techniques, are integrated into our work, supporting a holistic approach to healing.

By addressing trauma through the lens of Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy, we aim to move beyond mere coping towards a place of strength, resilience, and renewal, embracing a future with openness and hope.
